He was in a kennel at the back of the shelter waiting to be euthanized when a little recovering little puppy was crying. The little old man was taken out of his cage and put in with the little pup in hopes he would comfort him. the pup lay next to him cuddling him and the crying stopped. The staff at the shelter was amazed at the patience of this little senior dog who cared for this lonely and scared puppy. Soon after, the puppy was adopted. The little man was back on the euthanasia list when the staff wouldn't quit trying to find him a home in hopes he could be spared. We took him into our care are and are so glad we did! This is the kind of dog that makes you glad to be around him. This is the kind of dog that should have never ended up at the shelter. He will love you forever and would be forever grateful if you would consider a senior dog with a million dollar personality and a face only a mother could love.
