Friday, Dec. 11 Bethlehem Walk - First United Methodist Church of Escondido hosts its annual re-creation of Bethlehem at the time of Jesus' birth. More than 2,000 visitors each year take guided tours (leaving every five minutes) of the biblical village, filled with costumed re-enactors, which ends at the manger for a living Nativity display; 5:30 to 9 p.m. (also 4 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday and 4 to 8 p.m. Dec. 13); 341 S.
