Remicade treatment. Thru July 9th. Remicade is given as an infusion through an IV line in a hospital or doctor's office setting. The infusion is given slowly over several (usually 2 or more) hours. Common side effects of Remicade include abdominal pain, nausea, fatigue and vomiting. decreases immune system function (immunosuppression), which can result in serious infections (e.g., tuberculosis or fungal infections), or a worsening of an existing infection.
